Look, pretty much all wood bats are the same. As long as you start with a good piece of wood, there is really no difference brand to brand.
So it all comes down to what feels best.
You want a bat that feels like an extension of your body. A bat that melts into your hand. Something that is comfortable for hours and hours in the cage.
Traditional bats are made on a lathe. A simple machine that spins a piece of wood, while a tool gouges the profile. Unfortunately, our hands are not that simple. Rayline Baseball uses a custom made, computer-controlled, 4-axis carving machine, capable of shaping a bat in ways that a lathe can't.

The Cobra is a solid wood, one-piece bat. It complies with the USABat® Standard and is legal for use in leagues that follow it. These generally include:
- Little League Baseball
- Babe Ruth / Cal Ripken Baseball
- PONY Baseball
It is up to you to confirm with your specific league that a one-piece wood bat following the USABat® standard is legal for play.

I got a sneak peek at these bats and how they’re made in person before Rayline launched, and I knew right away they were going to be something special.
This is hands down the most comfortable bat I’ve ever swung. I’ve used it so much since I got it that traditional bats now feel weird in my hands. And the sound when you square one up on the barrel is unreal.
One thing worth knowing: with wood bats you want to hit the ball on the same side of the barrel every time. That’s the opposite of some other bats, where you rotate the barrel for an even break in. So with your Rayline, hitting the same spot isn’t a problem, it’s exactly what you’re supposed to do.

Absolutely love my Rayline wood bat. The quality is top notch, it feels extremely balanced in my hands, and the ball really jumps off the barrel. The wood feels hard and durable, and the craftsmanship is impressive from the handle all the way through the barrel.
I’ve swung a lot of different wood bats, and this one definitely stands out. Great feel, great pop, and something I’d feel confident using every time I step up to the plate. Highly recommend Rayline if you’re looking for a high quality wood bat.
