Traditional bats are made on a lathe. A simple machine that spins a piece of wood, while a tool gouges the profile. Unfortunately, our hands are not that simple. Rayline Baseball uses a custom made, computer-controlled, 4-axis carving machine, capable of shaping a bat in ways that a lathe can't.

I got a sneak peek at these bats and how they’re made in person before Rayline launched, and I knew right away they were going to be something special.
This is hands down the most comfortable bat I’ve ever swung. I’ve used it so much since I got it that traditional bats now feel weird in my hands. And the sound when you square one up on the barrel is unreal.
One thing worth knowing: with wood bats you want to hit the ball on the same side of the barrel every time. That’s the opposite of some other bats, where you rotate the barrel for an even break in. So with your Rayline, hitting the same spot isn’t a problem, it’s exactly what you’re supposed to do.
